I just found PokerListings.com and am blown away by all that's here. For starters they are giving away 5 WSOP main event packages via a private free roll if you sign up at Inter Poker, Pacific Poker, Poker Room, or Gaming Club Poker. I am book-marking this site as a poker reference. It has tournament listings, free roll listings, tells us what the best Bonus rooms are, rates the online sites, and does a "Top List" of poker rooms. It's everything you wanted to know about online poker. They rated Pacific Poker, Tiger Gaming, and CelebPoker as having the juiciest "Easy to Win" games. They even have an odds calculator. There's too much here to tell you about all the features. Check it out and see if you agree with their faves.Promotion Codes
Are you a sucker for promotions? Tell the truth. Do you hop from room to room cashing in on first deposit bonuses? Well, until there's a book out called The Penny Pincher's Passport to Playing Online Poker, PokerWords.com has charted out promotion codes for you. From a 100% first deposit bonus at FullTiltPoker (up to $600), a $10,000 daily tourney at Pacific Poker, and Daily Freerolls at Poker Champs—this promo page is a great primer for players new to the online world. They give you a quick overview of the site, the promotion of note, and a link to the bonus offer.
This is a good site for beginners overall. Check out their Glossary and link to sites that have freeplay, for those days when it pays not to make a deposit or four.
The Poker Minion You've Always Wanted
Ah yes, wouldn't it be lovely to let someone else's fingers do the clicking? I was catching up on some reading over at The Poker Chronicles and found a hilarious post about RoboticPoker.com. Also called Hold'em Memory, this is a program designed to memorize your actions for certain hands. As an example, fold hands you don't want to play. They stress that this is not a bot, and that it currently works with the following online poker sites: Party Poker, Empire Poker, Multi Poker, Intertops Poker, Poker Now, and Coral Eurobet Poker.PC was poking fun at the language of the site and how it was clearly made by foreigners. Not that there is anything wrong with entrepreneurs from abroad, but they were amused and it has since created a snowball effect. Anybody using this?
