Following in the wake of the Borgata Open, the 2006 US Poker Championship began on Monday at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. This tournament is pretty interesting because the buy-ins for the events are considerably lower than for other larger-scale tournaments, and their Main Event is not No Limit Texas Hold'em, it is a $5000 Seven Card Stud Championship.
