For Peyton Charity

My friend Bobby Bracelet recently played in a soccer tournament to raise money for Peyton Novoa. Her mother Natasha died of a rare form of cancer earlier this year.

Bobby mentioned this tragic story to a few people such as Jason Kirk from Bluff Magazine. Jason then mentioned it to WPT Player of the Year Gavin Smith and ESPN writer Steve Rosenbloom.

Slowly, Peyton's story has been getting around. Michael Friedman wrote a great article about it for Card Player Magazine.

Rosenbloom even mentioned it in his column for ESPN. Our friend Shelly helped design a website called For Peyton.

Gavin Smith asked his friends to help out. A few pros such as Phil Ivey, Mark Seif, and Mike "The Grinder" Mizrachi donated autographed jerseys and hats.

2. It’s been a good long time since I last looked for a job. When I got laid off five years ago I was in the middle of selling my house and barely had time to move into my apartment before I got my poker blogging break. When I schuhe mbt got laid off two years before that I used a temp agency to get my foot in the door at Del Monte before they hired me full time. Come to think of it I temped at the job before THAT until they saw the light and took me on.
