Those of you who had their hearts set on playing in the (extremely expensive) HORSE Event at this year's World Series of Poker better check your calendar. The $50,000 event has been changed from the original start date of July 25th and will now run between July 12th through 14th. Originally scheduled in that time frame was 2-7 Draw Lowball which will now take over the July 25th - 26th timeslot.
Why did the dates change? According to the official
World Series of Poker website, it was "to provide enhanced television coverage of the largest buy-in event in World Series of Poker history."

1. Excellent! Originally I had heard they weren't going to televise the HORSE event. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed. I'm glad to hear they are going to be covering it after all. That being said, it will probably be a difficult event for them to cover since the shows are so heavily edited. I can only imagine that we may be seeing a different game on every hand due to so much being edited out. The games could even appear out of order. The average viewer could get lost very quickly. It will be very interesting to see how it all plays out.
