The 4th Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino
in Las Vegas began on April 5th and will continue until April 24th. Preliminary events are in full swing, leading up to
the $25,000 buy-in World Poker Tour Main Event. Some notable results to date include:
April 6th, $1500 NLHE Event
Anthony Reategui beat out Robert Mizrachi for the win, collecting $214,275 for his efforts. Second place finisher (earning $113,265) Robert is, of course, one of the three Mizrachi brothers taking the poker world by storm. Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi is the best known of the three, leading Card Player's 2006 Player of the Year leaderboard by a mile. Michael's twin brother Eric has also experienced his share of success at the tables, most recently capturing 2nd place at the Winnin' O' the Green Tournament at The Bicycle Casino in California. Who did he lose to? His twin brother, of course.
