April Poker Tournaments

March was a busy month for tournaments, but it looks like April is going to be just as crazy. Here is a quick look at some of what is coming up over the next thirty days:

2006 Foxwoods Poker Classic
This series of tournaments held at the newly redesigned Foxwoods Resort Casino began March 27th and will continue through April 9th. The Championship Event, which has a $9700 plus $300 buy-in, will be a World Poker Tour televised event and begins April 6th.

The 2006 'Oklahoma Johnny' Hale Open
Tulsa, Oklahoma. Small series of tournaments with a $500 buy-in main event April 8/9.

4th Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic
Held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada, this tournament series runs between April 5th and April 24th. The $25,000 buy-in WPT Championship Event begins on April 18th.

2006 Stars and Stripes
This series at the Bicycle Casino spans twenty days and features touraments with buy-ins between $100-$300. The main event is a $500 entry, beginning on April 19th.2006 Spring Poker Round-Up
The Wildhorse Resort Casino in Pendleton, OR, is hosting the Spring Poker Round-Up, which runs between April 12-22. All tournaments are between $100 and $500 entry.

2006 Pechanga Open
Four tournaments over four days at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California. Buy-ins are $100, $200, $150 and $500.

2006 Midwest Regional Poker Championships
Held between April 19th and May 1st at Caesars Indiana. The main event is a $5000 entry and begins April 30th.

2006 Oasis Open
Perfect for Low Rollers, all tournament entries are $100 or under. Held at the Oasis Resort and Casino in Mesquite, NV. That is an hour outside of Vegas, for those not knowing.

and finally...

2006 WSOP Tournament Circuit - Caesars
Held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, this tournament begins April 27th and runs through May 10th. The $10,000 Main Event begins in May.
