Last week, I got married to top pair and gave all but
250 of my stack to Fred Garvin's turned set of nines. It was the hee-haw heard 'round the world, and just a few hands
later, KentAllard sent me to Gigli Island. Yes, I think I played a grand total of eleven minutes. But thanks to the DADI III tourney, playing lessons with Heather, lots of time away from the game, and recreational activities which are not poker-related, I think my tilt-tastic streak of shitty "oh well, i'm just going to lose anyway when I'm a 70-30 favorite, so let's push . . . now!" plays has come to an end.
And speaking of bringing things to an end, I will be temporarily ceasing the live blog. It's just become way too much work to write a good series of updates and also play my very best, most-focused poker. I'm sure I'll pick it up again at some point in the future, but until then, you'll have to get your hot live-blogging action elsewhere.
Here are all the details on tonight's game:
What: WWdN: KentAllard Invitational
Where: PokerStars.
When: Tuesday, February 21. 8:30 EST
Password: monkey
Tournament number: 20140943
Buy-in: $10 1
Spread the word around, and I'll see you all tonight!

1. Right on, baby. I'm going to scale back the number of comments for tonight's live blog at http://coffeecode.net -- but hopefully that's because I'm busy playing, rather than being the first person knocked out of the tourney. Best o' luck, and may the sooted hammer win...
