WPBT Las Vegas Update

Internet connection at the hotel has left a little to be desired, so I apologize for the delay in updating the WPBT Winter Classic live from Las Vegas. I'll be sharing highlights of the trip and the poker tournament from Saturday, but for now I would like to send out congratulations to StudioGlyphic for winning the main event after a tense heads up battle with Peacecorn.

Also, congrats to Spaceman for winning the Shootout in the Desert competition which was held immediately after the main event. Great job to everyone who participated in both events!

I'll be back Monday with recaps of the tournament, as well as some highlights from the trip.

1. I wish I would have started this blogging thing sooner. I would have loved to have been there. I'm eagerly awaiting everybody's recaps on what went down, who busted who, how many hammers and dial-a-shots happened, and so on. I guess I have to wait for the next event!

3. kaellinn18, this was the second annual WPBT Winter Classic, so I would assume it's yearly.. :)

4. It was fun as hell! And yes, it will happen again next year......probably at a bigger and better casino. (Rumor: a certain blogger knows an important person at the Rio who is already interested.)
