Poker Machines Seized

KingpinI read an article in the Wisconsin State Journal today that mentioned a small gambling raid. State agents in Madison, Wisconsin seized 10 video poker machines on Friday. No arrests were made.

I’m not even sure if the poker machines were illegal. The article never mentioned it. Are they? Shouldn’t someone have been arrested if they were? I’m going to see if I can find out more information. Some of the people in Madison are crying foul over this situation.

The poker machines were housed in a bowling alley called Dream Lanes. The bowling alley was raided during a small town meeting. The meeting was held to discuss the fact that the towns people wanted to recall Mayor Dave Cieslewicz for instituting a smoking ban around town. Click on the below article for more details.
