Since ESPN is currently airing the Main Event for the 2005 World Series of Poker, Flipchip decided to review Binion’s poker room. Go check it out. Binion’s Horseshoe used to be the official home of the WSOP until this year when Harrah‘s moved it to the Rio.I’ve actually had the pleasure of playing at Binion’s. It’s located in downtown Las Vegas and Benny Binion opened it in 1951. Flipchip’s review also includes some history behind the casino and Benny Binion.
Binion's poker room has 18 tables. The tournament area has 28 tables plus another 50 tables in Benny's Bullpen. The poker room spreads $2-$4, $4-$8 and $3-$6 Limit Hold'em. They also have $1-$2 No Limit Hold'em.
The Horseshoe has a long history of tournament poker. They have daily No Limit tournaments. Go check out Flipchip’s review for more details. He has the tournament schedule and information listed in his review.

1. I played some 2/4 or 3/6 HE for a few hours on a Sunday morning back in May and had a good time. The room was pretty empty and they had a hard time getting a third table up and running. The cocktail service was exceptionally slow, to which the dealer commented "Here at Binion's we offer same-day cocktail service."
It was just fun to play in the same room where so much history had taken place. And who knows, maybe I sat in the same chair once occupied by Ellix Powers...
