Employees of Casino Magic Biloxi in Mississippi are once again employed, though they aren't serving drinks or dealing cards.
Pinnacle Entertainment, which owns Casino Magic, has offered construction jobs to any employee wanting work. They are teaching a construction safety class and have the employees assisting Manhattan Construction Co. in rebuilding the casino.
The gambling barge was destroyed during the storm surges from Hurricane Katrina, and the hotel also sustained heavy damage.
