Harrah's Entertainment and America Online have agreed to create a new online home for the World Series of Poker. This new home will include free-play poker rooms and event updates.Harrah's and AOL have also agreed to give 12 poker fans a chance to win a free seat to the WSOP $10,000 Main Event. This seat will be for either the 2006 or 2007 World Series of Poker. Details are still being ironed out.
This deal makes AOL the exclusive online partner of the World Series of Poker. You’ll be able to access all World Series of Poker content through AOL.com. AOL will soon have the only internet poker game in the United States. Very interesting. Click on the below article for more details.
1. Sound pretty intresting to have a partnership with aol and WSOP. Must be a really mainstream market if aol wants a part of the action. I think giving away prizes for online poker tournaments is a great way to attract visitors.
