The Manchester United Soccer Team recently decided to kill their plans to build a Las Vegas style casino. The casino was expected to be located at Old Trafford.

Manchester United had originally teamed up with the Las Vegas Sands Corporation to build this casino. They submitted development plans for the casino complex this past May. Those plans included a five-star hotel, restaurants, a health club and sports bar.

Unfortunately, they decided to withdraw their plans. They believe that Blackpool will win the bid for the Government license. As a result, they decided to end any further spending on the project.
