Slotland.com is doing a great deed. They‘re building a school for an African village in Malawi. Malawi is a former British colony located in southeast Africa. It’s one of the world’s poorest countries. Most of the locals live on less than a dollar a day.

A portion of Slotland.com’s profits will be donated to a fund called “New Chance for a New Generation.” The original plan was to donate money to a worthy charity that focused on aid to Africa. Slotland.com decided it might be best to get more involved by directly funding a specific charity project. They eventually chose to build a school.

It was a tough decision on which village to help out. Slotland.com just wanted to make a difference for an entire community. I think building a school will definitely do the job! Half of Malawi’s adult population can’t read or write so this project will be good for them. Click on the below link for more details.
