PokerFundraiser.org has joined forces with Superior Poker to introduce ongoing charity fundraiser tournaments. The automated system enables charities to accept 50% of the proceeds collected from online poker tournaments as donations. The remaining amount is left as the prize pool for tournament winners. 

PokerFundraiser.org is accepting applications from charities, though they state that they are very selective about the charities they support, and submitting an application does not guarantee a tournament.

The first charity tournament will be held at Superior Poker on October 15, 2005, benefiting the Kristen Richter Fund. For more information on this and other charity tournaments, click on the link below.
