Wynn Resorts has promoted Andrew Pascal to President and Chief Operating Officer of Wynn Las Vegas. Andrew will now oversee daily operations of the Las Vegas resort.

Andrew used to be the Executive Vice President and COO of Wynn Las Vegas. He started working with Wynn Resorts in 2003 after many years in the gaming industry. He replaces Marc Schorr who has much bigger responsibilities on his plate.

Marc Schorr stepped aside to concentrate on being the Chief Operating Officer of Wynn Resorts, Limited (the parent company). His major project will be the opening of a casino resort called Wynn Macau in late 2006. Wynn Macau will be located in the People's Republic of China. Click on the below article for more details.
