A new member’s only poker club is set to open for business in early 2006. It will be located in Mayfair, which is in central London. The Fox Poker Club will be the name of this new club. They‘ve applied for a Casino License with the Gaming Board of Great Britain. If they are successful in their bid, this will be London’s first fully licensed card room. This club will be next door to its sister club, The Fox Club.
The Fox Poker Club plans to have one of the largest card rooms in London. They plan on having a “Platinum Room.” This room will have a full TV studio in it. Access will be restricted to Platinum Members and their guests.
The Platinum Room will host high stakes No Limit cash games. It will also be the location of final tables for any major tournaments they run. All regular club members will be able watch these games live on flat screen TV’s from the bar and lounge area. Nice! It sounds like the Fox Poker Club will be a great place to play cards.

1. Does anyone know anything else about these clubs? It looks like I'll be living in London for a couple of years starting in March, and I don't think I can go that long without live play!
