In a story that probably makes most serious poker players cringe, Mariah Carey of all people is the newest celeb to book a win in the game of poker. 

Attending the birthday party of producer Jermaine Dupri in Las Vegas, Mariah apparently won $27,000 after just three rounds of poker in a casino. She stated that she isn’t much of a poker player, and admitted that the win probably had more to do with the cut of her dress rather than her skill at the table. 

In a related story, while Mariah was in Las Vegas, she reportedly asked for $25,000 as a fee to attend the opening of a bar. The owners refused to pay her the sum, but it looks like she found a way to make the money while in Vegas after all.
