Odds Released on 2006 WSOP

wsopchipsWith only ten months to go until the next World Series of Poker, it seems appropriate that the odds are already out on who will win the event. Ok, maybe I am being a bit sarcastic, but BetUSA.com has indeed released the list and will be updating with more names as the event draws nearer.

The overall favorite to win is Phil Ivey, with 200-1. Second, with odds of 250-1 is Daniel Negreanu, and third is Howard Lederer at 300-1.

In the 400-1 category are fan favorites Marcel Luske, Gus Hansen, Layne Flack and Phil Hellmuth. No woman is ranked higher than 750-1, but a handful of the female pros are in this category including Kathy Liebert, Annie Duke, and Jennifer Harman.
