Tonight is Katrina Relief tournament number three over at PokerStars. I thought I wouldn't live blog last night's game, and I busted in a lousy 115th place. So I'm back to live blogging it tonight.

6:29 PM (all times PDT) - I am seat one at table fifteen.

6:30 PM - Cards are in the air.

6:31 PM - Ha! I'm the only player at my table! "These guys are so tight, it's like they're not even in their seats." I said. Haw. Haw. Haw.

6:33 PM - I just dropped THE HAMMER. Big deal, because nobody was there. Sweet. Updates will be in extended.
 
6:35 PM - I'm sucking up blinds. I'm over 2000 now. Heh.

6:36 PM - EricC007 just showed up, and he's got position on me. Guess I have to play the A game now.

6:45 PM - I just successfully dropped THE HAMMER for reals. Cool!

7:00 PM - This is tough. Eric has position, and twice my stack. I can't push him off a hand, so even if I have a good starting hand, unless I hit the flop, I have to fold. He's got position on me, too, so I'm boned.

7:03 PM - Whew. I just made a full house vs. a straight, and got up to 2400. Time to fire up the "Tight Wil" subroutine.

7:11 PM - I raise with A9, get a call. A on the flop. I bet he calls. We both check an ace on the turn, I bet the river, he raises, I call, he shows AK. Crap. At least I didn't get busted.

7:20 PM - Eric offered to fold the next ten blinds, so I could at least play some more. I told him not to dump, and I'd actually sit out if this were a "real"game, and then I went on a rush. AK, AT, KK, etc. Hah. Now I have 1985.

7:23 PM - There are a lot of sitters tonight. shogusumi just joined our table, with 19,125. He says that he's won 285 hands without a showdown! He just busted a guy when his KK made a boat on the river against 99 that flopped a set.

7:30 PM - Just dropped THE HAMMER again, when I paired my deuce. Heh. We're on a break, so it's time for a quick walk.

7:35 PM - We're back. Average is 4768. I have 1885. The leader of 67 players is 30500. During the break, I walked outside to get some air and move around. Ryan mowed our lawn this afternoon, and he did it in a circle, so it looks like a giant bullseye. Cool.

7:38 PM - Well, the blinds were about to get me, so I got it all in with AJs vs. AQo. Congratulations to shogusumi who busted me and won an autographed copy of one of my books!
